Bangladesh President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has urged the United Kingdom to strengthen cooperation in education, human resource development, technology, trade and investment.
He made the remarks during a courtesy meeting with British High Commissioner Sarah Cooke at Bangabhaban on Monday.
Cooke also handed over a congratulatory letter from King Charles III to the President. She said nearly 99.99% of Bangladeshi products will continue to enjoy duty-free access to the UK market for three years after Bangladesh graduates from the LDC category.
The two sides also discussed digital climate data exchange to improve weather forecasting and agricultural production.
